Construction of instruction-sensitive test items (COINS)

Student results from standardized achievement tests are often used to assess students‘ learning, to evaluate the quality of school, teaching and other educational measures or to compare educational systems at the national and international level.

ITBO - Sub-project: Transversal skills

Based on the assumption that in order to cope with the challenges of the digitalised society, not only subject-specific and digital competences are necessary, but also generic competences, this project will develop, test and evaluate instruments for recording and teaching concepts for promoting transversal skills.

ITBO - Sub-project: Lernnavi

The primary goal of the digital learning support system Lernnavi is to support the development of subject-specific competencies in German and Mathematics among students of grammar schools and specialised secondary schools.

This project is carried out in cooperation between Heidelberg University of Education (Germany) and St.Gallen University of Teacher Education.
