Chancenförderung bei der Selektion - CHANSON

Improving opportunities for pupils transferring to secondary school – CHANSON

The CHANSON project aims to help children from low-income families transfer successfully from primary into secondary school.

It is implemented by specially trained teachers and teaching students, and takes place during the children’s final year of primary school (sixth grade) and their first semester of secondary school. The programme’s goal is to enable the children participating to cope well with the change from primary school level to the more advanced secondary school level. The project is currently being implemented by the local school authorities of Wil SG and Rapperswil-Jona.
