Projekt KOMPRA PHSG

Competence-oriented practical training (KOMPRA)

The KOMPRA project focuses on the promotion of efficient, targeted, and continuous skills development.

The KOMPRA web tool combines skills assessments (self-assessment by the student teacher, external assessment by his or her coach) with goal-setting exercises and tasks that require the participants to reflect on the coach–coachee partnership. The coaching approach on which the web tool is based focuses on the promotion of positive working relationships, the setting meaningful goals, and the instilment of a strong sense of commitment to these goals. KOMPRA provides the coachee and the coach with a standardised method of working on both their existing skills and the skills they would like to acquire. It also renders their progress in these fields visible and measurable. The web tool helps structure coaching approaches and provides information on how to optimise the coaching process.

KOMPRA’s objectives

•  Supervising the professionalisation process in a continuous and standardised manner
•  Encouraging deep reflection on the profession
•  Deepening and fostering professional skills and competence
•  Working with a defined set of skills
